Xavier Warren is the NFLPA Contract Advisor for the Washington, DC office. Before joining HOF Player Representatives, Xavier was the President of One Agency. The firm represented authors, coaches, and players. Xavier focuses on business and client career development for aspiring NFL players and coaches. His duties include but are not limited to recruiting, contract negotiation, NFL club research, and media outreach.
Xavier has a passion for education and sports. In three years, Xavier graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree from Hampton University while playing collegiate football. He understands the everyday challenges NCAA student-athletes face. After hanging up his cleats at Hampton, Xavier completed his Master’s Degree at Georgetown University while working for the Washington Redskins in the Player Personnel Department. He made it his priority to learn the ins and outs of player contracts during his time with the Redskins, and gained invaluable knowledge about effective player representation from prominent NFLPA representatives while at Georgetown. Xavier’s unique sports industry experience and his relationships with NFL executives, coaches, scouts, and NFLPA employees laid the foundation for One Agency. The insights and perspectives he gained both in the classroom and through his work with salary-cap and contract experts at an NFL franchise have positioned him to help athletes achieve their peak potential both on and off the field.
Xavier enjoys sharing his passion for his work with others. Among his frequent media interviews and speaking engagements, he has conducted multiple interviews with the Washington Business Journal, served as a guest lecturer at American University Kogod School of Business, and has been a panelist at both Howard University School of Law’s Sports & Entertainment Law Students Association 2014 Center Court Conference and the University of the District of Columbia School of Business and Public Administration’s Entrepreneurship Club of the Center for Urban Entrepreneurship, “Trick or Treat: The Art of the Pitch” workshop.
Xavier was born and raised in Ringgold, Virginia. He was a captain on his high school football team and also participated in track and field. Xavier lives in Washington, D.C.
