Greg “Tripp” Linton graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, with certifications in Financial Asset Management, Sports Management, and marketing. Greg then later received his Masters of Business Administration, with a specialization in Applied Management. In August 2009, he was sworn in as a Financial Institution Specialist with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Tripp prides himself in his honesty and integrity over all else, and his background more than adequately prepares him for the rigors associated with the complexities of all aspects of dealing with professional athletes.
Tripp left a major Sports Agency before forming HOF Player Representatives. He wanted an agency where the relationship between athlete and agent is more than just business dealing, rather one that is an active advisor and friend to the athlete. Featured in the 2010 documentary “Late Rounders” and ESPN’s Draft Academy inaugural season in 2014, Tripp’s unique personality and relationship with his players can be seen on full display. As a former athlete, Tripp understands the exhaustive nature of being a student-athlete, which allows him to connect with his clients on a personal level.
